Bally’s Centaur, released in October 1981, is a landmark solid-state pinball machine widely regarded as an early-’80s classic. Designed by Jim Patla, with artwork by Paul Faris, the game is instantly recognizable for its stark black-and-white visual style accented by red highlights.
Praised for its cohesive design, bold aesthetic, and challenging gameplay, Centaur remains highly regarded among collectors and is consistently ranked along the most wanted solid state classics.
This clock's left display indicates date, right display indicates time. Buttons on either side allow adjusting date and time. A callout from the playfield scrolls across the screen at every hour.
Cabinet dimensions are 9"x7"x6", in 1/2" thick stencil-painted plywood.
All clocks come with a 7.5V AC/DC power supply.
When unplugged, the clock keeps track of the time with a CR2032 battery.
Battery comes pre-installed for clocks shipping to North America.
The clock can remain plugged in at all times and the light may be turned off using a switch underneath the cabinet.
