The Bally™ Paragon pinball machine, released in 1979, is a legendary widebody game known for its challenging gameplay and stunning fantasy artwork by Paul Faris. As Bally’s first widebody machine, Paragon offered a unique playfield layout with asymmetrical features, including the infamous “Beast’s Lair” and intricate shot geometry. Faris’ artwork, inspired by classic sword-and-sorcery themes, brought the world of Paragon to life with dramatic colors, mythical creatures, and a sense of epic adventure. Its innovative design and immersive aesthetic made it a standout title of the era, securing its place as a classic among pinball enthusiasts.
